India—2 Die In Gun Battle In Kashmir

An Indian army major has been killed in a gunfight in the Anantnag district in southern Kashmir, reports the Times of India. A Pakistani terrorist was also killed, while another major and two soldiers from the 19 Rashtriya Rifles were injured in the fighting.
