Yemen—Houthis Shoot Down Reaper Drone, Says CENTCOM

A U.S. surveillance drone was shot down over Yemen earlier this month, reports the U.S. Central Command. On June 6, the MQ-9 Reaper air vehicle was downed by a suspected SA-6 surface-to-air missile, the command said on Sunday. The altitude of the engagement was greater than previous Houthi capability, which CENTCOM said was the result of Iranian assistance.
